A short Itinerary

May 18, 2008

I start on May 22 from Minneapolis to London. From there I go to Stoke-on-trent stay there for a day or so at my sisters place and plan my rest of the travel in europe. Will leave europe on June 7th from Manchester reaching Cape Town on the next morning. Will stay in Cape Town for 3 days and on the 11th will start from Cape Town along with a few others on a truck. Travelling on the truck for the next 28 days will crossover to Nambia, then to Botswana to Zambia/ Zimbabwe (might skip zimbabwe based on the political situation) finally leaving Africa from Johannesburg to Dubai. After a very short stopover in Dubai will land in Chennai. Having fun in India for the next 30 days, a probable trip to Nepal before flying to Seattle through Shanghai.

Given time, will write a more detailed itinerary.

This photo was taken by Mccullagh while he was going for Burning man

I thought the picture precisely characterizes my present state.

Burning Man is an eight-day annual event that takes place in Black Rock City, a temporary city on the playa of the Black Rock Desert in the U.S. state of Nevada, 90 miles (150 km) north-northeast of Reno, ending on the American Labor Day holiday in September. The event is described by organizers as an experiment in community, radical self-expression, and radical self-reliance and takes its name from the ritual burning of a large wooden effigy on Saturday evening. Me blogging again

May 15, 2008

Yup..here comes a yet another blog from me.
Very much like my previous ramblings this blog happens at a time when I have reached another crossroads in my life. I have just graduated as Masters from University of Minnesota and decided to take up an exciting opportunity as a Program Manager at Microsoft Live Search, celebrated my 22nd birthday and bid farewell to my friends in Minneapolis, and finally decided to get out of my couch and do a bit of travelling around the world.
